Sonya attended the annual conference in Saint Charles, MO. There were many noteworthy classes, knowledgeable speakers and much to learn! Sonya received her certification for Pet CPR & First Aid and came home ready to share what she has learned. There was just enough time to explore Main Street and the Louis & Clark museum.
Sometimes we need to just make time to relax. Ibi Semper volunteers and teams went on a river cruise with Dutch Apple River Cruises. It was so nice to see everyone, to get together and not discuss business, to play a “survival” game and enjoy each other’s company. To just “be”! Thank you for sharing your photos and the comedic argument if “medicinal chocolate” or a sextant should have been the #1 survival item on the Coast Guard list.

Update on Finn (Finnley), she is living the life with nurse April and her family. She has had a rough start in life, but got adopted in a loving 1st Responder family. Finn already went to work with April and enjoyed a cool-off at the lake. Finn and April’s 1st training session went very well indeed! She learned sit, down, stay and leave it. And we used the Gentle Leader, which is not a muzzle. Always end on a positive note and letting dogs be dogs! Engaging, improving lives and helping dogs - that is just what IST does! Thank you The Lucky Puppy Rescue for making this Partnership a reality!
